He explains why he could not write last night because of some guests that had to stay overnight due to the rain. He talks about his meeting with Nayyir Qudsiyah and their discussion about the date [probably wedding date] and that they have about eight days left from today, the eighteenth, to the the settled date which is the twenty sixth.
